New this year!
In this exciting hands-on program, students will utilize Ozobots and colour coding technology to experiment with introductory robotics concepts like linear coding methods and colour sensing. Students will build on existing hands-on problem-solving skills by working to navigate through fun puzzles and mini games. Paired with the museum’s unparalleled atmosphere and commitment to learning, students will explore concepts and capabilities of visual coding in a computer science context.
Learning Goals:
Learn introductory robotics concepts; specifically, line-following and colour sensing
Work as a team to brainstorm ideas and develop problem-solving skills by navigating puzzles
Engage with 3d printed accessories to experience the depth of Ozobots’ capabilities
Students will be introduced to physics and optics
Explore concepts and capabilities of visual coding in a computer science context
