Return to Manito Ahbee Aki and continue the journey through this amazing Anishinaabe community!
With the guidance of Indigenous Museum Educators Leslie (Mississaugas of Curve Lake First Nation) and Dehmin (Ojibway and Odawa from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory) and Museum Minecraft Mentor Sarah, your students will travel back in time through the magic of Minecraft.
Students will continue the journey through Manito Ahbee Aki that they began on March 28. If you didn't attend on March 28, don’t worry! Register for the special catchup date of “April 26” and you’ll receive a link to a recording of Part 1 that you can watch -- be sure to watch the recording before attending Part 2!
If you're just starting this journey, submit a booking for each of these dates.
Along the way, lessons will be supported by real Indigenous Artistic and Cultural Belongings that currently reside at ROM.
In this special YouTube Live Format, you’ll be able to pause and play the lesson to go at the pace that’s right for your students. If you can’t attend live, or if you miss any of the sessions, you’ll receive a link to the session recording when you register, and you can catch up at your own pace. Register for all 3 dates to receive links to all recordings.
This presentation was developed for Grade 3-8, but we welcome any students who are willing and excited to learn along with us.
